Firewire port cover?

Is there supposed to be a plastic/rubber plug or flap that covers and protects the firewire port on the FX1? Mine has no cover on it and wondered if my camera is missing a part. Granted, it is facing downward, but still open to dust and moisture.

Kinda dumb of SONY to leave the Firewire & XLR ports open like that.
