can you copy scenes from TV to your Z1?
 

The manual says you can but after following the instructions I continue to fail to do it. Anything i should do that the manual is not describing? Has anyone recorded TV images through VCR or directly from tv to the Z1?

I haven't tried, but I believe this is only possible when the camera is set for DV instead of HDV mode. Could that be your problem? What happens when you try? How are you connecting the TV to your Z1?

With your camera on VCR mode, go to the IN/OUT REC section of your camera's menu and turn A/V->DV OUT on. I think that's how I got it to work when I was recording to my camera about a month ago.

Are you using an RCA or s-video input? I remember it working for me with RCA.
