Varizoom's flow pod

Just a review and a little contribution to this site. FX1 was the main use for this. This is very versitle. Excellent mono pod. Using it as a flowpod is a different story. Took me a while to get it "balanced". Then when I tried to maneuver the flowpod it was frustrating. Really difficuilt to get a good steady "floating" appeal. I have to say the more you use it the better you get at it. The big draw back to this since the FX1 is heavy, having the 970 battery and other accesories just adds more weight and not really forgiving to your hands and wrist. Also no quick release from the flowpod. Overall its a verstile peice of equipment.
