Hey Nathaniel,

I assume you're asking for feedback, so here goes...

I find you have some smooth stuff going on. Yes the keying is rough, but almost looks like an added effect, so it doesn't bug me too much. But should be adjusted to either be clean, or look for sure like the look is on purpose.

My main complaint would be the pacing of the spot. It's really slow. Needs to be tightened up to remove the unnecessary pauses in her phrasing. Though I guess you are trying to fit it in to a specific length (60 sec?), which makes it tough. Some kind of sound effect on the transitions perhaps?

I didn't really like the ripple effect on your first graphic either. Looks cheesy to me.

Love the accent. Don't hear that much over here...

Thanks,

The way we did the chroma keying wasn't to clever. It was really rough etc. We added the glow around the woman and that sorted it (fixed a major problem with the chroma keying) We are working to try and get it down to a max of 40secs. Will that be ok?

I agree the rippling is way out of sinc and doesn't really work. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks,
Nathaniel

You don't have a specific length that is required by the broadcaster? 30secs? 60secs?

If not, just cut it down until you are happy with the pacing. Right now there is a lot of time between each shot/dialogue, which is killing the pacing.

The voice needs to be brought out on top of the music. It gets hidden by it during parts of her narration. Pump up the voice and bring down the music.

Instead of just having the glow, perhaps the entire background could make use of some fractals that blend in to the glow.

Chroma-Keying is realy tricky, I made a couple of test and I found that lighting and stretching the cloth perfectly is the major problem... was that your case Nathaniel? at one time it seems that there's a ripple behind her (on the right side of the screen) also if you dont have enough backlighting on the girl you'll have a hard time cutting her out, is that what happened?

They We were actualy light blue chroma colour boards.

I have tried to match the theme of our hosting website. goto http://cymraegwaleshosting.com/ to see the theme (im not advertising before some starts.)
Is there a better way i could have done to improve the theme.

Thanks,
Nathaniel
