Diffusion filter Tiffen Pro Mist 1/4, I look for info

Hi,
I'd like to ask some question please. I am purchasing Sony FX7 to make
documentaries around the world but Century Optics doesn't have any
Wide Angle Lens yet.
I hope Y donět make a mistake. Do you know when Century Optics will
ship with a Wide Angle Lens for FX7?
A last question:
I am undecided between an UV filter or a diffusion filter Tiffen Pro
Mist 1/4.
Do you know that filter?
In your opinion can I use it permanently on FX7 camera as a UV filter?
Thanks for your suggestions,

I don't think you should wait for that WA adapter. Try to get any other that works for it. Pity they will all be threadable types.

About the filter, you shouldn't leave any diffusion filter on your FX7 all the time. If you don't want to use an UV, which should be your most neutral option, I'd suggest to get a graduated ND, which should rotate and help you tame brighter areas in your frame, like the sky.
