Full Progessive HD through component output ?

Hello :)

If I connect the Z1 via the HD Component output to a HD-Capture Card and the Z1 is in Cineframe mode ... do I get a real full progressive signal or is it still deinterlaced but without HDV Artifacts ? I guess it still gets deinterlaced which means only half resolution.

Thanks!

Peter

Cineframe is not just deinterlaced--it duplicates one field and drops another, or some dumb magic like that--you're loosing more than just half resolution. I've heard avoid Cineframe altogether. Also, there's no reason why the HD component output is magically progressive when in Cineframe mode, you're getting the same frame cadence no matter how you extract it, it's still Cineframe after all.
