Software that compensates for camera flashes

Not sure if this has been aired before but looks like Panasonic have come up with something to overcome the rolling shutter flash frame nonsense on cmos cams.

Take a look at this demo ProVideo Coalition.com: FRESHDV by Matthew Jeppsen & Kendal Miller it starts about 10 minutes in dealing with the compensation to the rolling shutter.

Hopefully Sony or a plug-in vendor will come out with something similar since Panasonic is taking the lead on this problem.

A firmware update would be nice... the less steps in the post workflow, the better...
