WA Lens for the Z7U

I picked up a WA Lens from 16x9 at NAB. Its the HDV75x82 and its .75x. I used it for the first time last night at a wedding and it rocks. Its zoom-through and I didn't notice any type of light loss either. It sells for about $875 on B&H, but I got it for $750 as a show special. I also picked up a Beebob Lanc controller as well. I haven't been able to use it yet, but I picked it after comparing it to the Varizoom and Manfrotto equivalents. I liked the tension on it the best.
I also have an NAB version of the B&H catalog with a few show specials good through May 2nd. I don't have time to scan each page, but if anyone is looking for something specific, let me know and I'll thumb through it. They have new codes for the NAB items. I wish they would have just created new codes and put NAB as the first 3 letters. Oh well.

See ya,

Chad

I ordered one of each of the 16x9 WA lens to compare them as the Sony WA won't be out for another few months or so. I'll have them in about a week, but my Z7U's will be at Sony! We'll see what happens.

As for the BH catalog, do they have a weblink with the specials? I know they sometimes do that.

I couldn't find a link on the site. I did to a Google search on B&H NAB specials and came up with a few forum posts. I think there are a couple of Bogen tripod/leg deals as well as some cams. I didn't need a bunch of the other stuff.

The show specials aren't online. Trade show attendees who visit our show booth get a printed catalog listing the specials for that show. They're designed to be available to the show attendees only.

Ok, thanks. I know in the past, some shows will have a catalog and weblink....oh well. I guess it's a good thing so I will stop spending money!
