Mine has never worked either, I just use a card reader.
|
thats nice to know i am not the only one with the problem i wonder why this issue has not been resolved
|
I have spent lots of e-mails and phone calls with sony support and all that came back was that it was working Ok at their end so that is it!
|
I think this is still the link to the Sony software Sony : Sony Recording Unit/FCP 6 Plug-in : Autre
Let us know if it works for you. |
Think I got mine from this one -
http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/...dv/fcp_plugin/ The one on the sony biz site appears to be in French so I found the above as an alternative. Cheers Jon |

I will contact my reseller today and i am sure he mentioned they had a patch from Sony for FCP hopefully |
I hope you've got it to work, but I'd highly highly highly HIGHLY recommend buying a Lexar FW 800 reader.
Lexar - Flash memory card readers - Pro CF Reader it was night & day for transfering. |
|
Just tried the latest version 110 and still no joy on my systems.
|
CF readers
I use the SanDisk Firewire 800 CF reader. In general card reader is better since it is less likely to have a power interruption (since it gets its power via the computer link). CF cards don't handle power interruptions during transfer very well. It is not unusual for them to become unusable if this occurs (and anything that was on them is lost).
