Wish list for next generation Z7

If there's a next generation Z7, this is what I would like to see improved:

- coloured peaking, such as on the Z5 and the EX3
- a folding loupe (such as on older 6x6 cameras) on the LCD-monitor
- an small adjustable shoulder pad at the back of the camera
- the LANC-plug on the same place as on the Z5
- sturdy power plug instead of the sled

How about you guys?

No suggestions? No desires? No Z7-dreams? Anyone?
Sony must have made the perfect camera, then!

A couple of good improvements for me would be better low light performance and a slightly wider angle of view on the supplied lens.

For me the biggest improvement would be a matt anti-reflective finish to the lcd - as on the Z1. Don't the designers ever try using these things outdoors?

Id like to see:

Dual compact flash card slots - and the ability to seamlessly go from one to another

A proper broadcast style lens. dump the prosumer lens filled with electronics. I want a real lens with manual backfocus and macro rings please.

Super slo mo at full resolution

When recording to CF card, would be nice to have a choice of recording formats- like recording straight into .mov files, like the new JVCs do. Hell- would be great if you could record at a higher bitrate, and full raster, but that would be treading on EX1/3's toes.

Id like to see the jello vision cmos sensor 'feature' resolved.

oh, and BNC connectors. I know theres not much room on the camera body, but those min-display port style connectors are just too weedy for repeated plugging and unplugging

yeah, I forgot these too. I don't even care if the camera has to become bigger and heavier to realise these improvements.

It would be great if it came in different colours Red, Blue, Green, Yellow would be cool :)

I'd like to see an option ship w/o a lens. Now with JVC, Panasonic & SOny all using the same 1/3" mount, there should be more & more options for glass in the future.

I have a lot of things that I would really like, but pretty much all that I want is a camera that shoots on CF or SD w/ under & over crank on a better codec than HDV. (Most of that is in the HPX300, minus the cheap flash cards.)

Just add 4 audio inputs & HD-SDI and you've got the S270! :-)

I know, but I would like that at a price close to the Z7 ;-)
Should be possible, as I don't need the external timecode sync, the big tapes and the pro batteries....
