Recapture footage from tape that was originally imported from CF Card (Final Cut Pro)
 

Hi all -
Maybe someone can help.

I have a project that I'm trying to restore. All my footage was originally imported into final cut using the Log & Transfer tool. Once I imported all the footage, I changed the Reel name from the generic "VOLUME" that it usually says to the corresponding Tape number (Tape 1 for instance)

So NOW, I want to re-capture my footage via tape over firewire.
When I try to recapture, I get an error ultimately suggesting that Final Cut is waiting for me to MOUNT the volume (ie CF card) called "Tape 1". It auto-launches the log & transfer tool when this message pops up. Even if I open Log & Capture first, I get a message telling me to close it so that it can launch log & Transfer.

SO clearly, it's trying to RE-Import footage and not capture.

Any tips here ???
I just want to recapture the source footage from tape and be on my way...
