Cleaner, Less Compressed Output Possible?

Hello,

A curious Z7U question: Is the signal from the HDMI port POST or PRE compression? I mean, is there any way to get a better image than off the TAPE or CARD?

Thank you!

Re: Cleaner, Less Compressed Output Possible?

The HDMI signal is Pre-compression. The compression occurs in encoding for HDV, and MPEG 2 variant.

I have used my nano flash with my Z7 via the HDMI output and the image is great!
