Nothing to see, move along.

Seriously, really boring footage. Got my camera today and was just toying with an EF50 1.8, the stock lens, digital zoom, focus transition and the steadyshot.
I wanted to try uploading to this great forum so that´s why you´re bothered with this "masterpiece"

Masterpiece indeeeeeed.

Re: Nothing to see, move along.

As it's my first purchase of camera I must say it's the best so far ;-)

I think it's good value for the money but I have to try it in different conditions to know how useful it can be for my work.
I'm used to working with fullsize 3ccd camcorders but have been doing some commercials on the 5D MkII.
This one is somewhere in between (not really), I like the form-factor and low weight but it needs some balancing on the shouldermount.
Quite excited about its possibilities though.

Beautiful bean footage Marcus. I think you are going to be happy with this camera. I'm almost thinking of getting one of these just for interviews. What do you think?

Re: Nothing to see, move along.

For only doing interviews I can hardly see any issues with this camera. Would get me a fast prime lens for that kind of work, though.
I'm thinkin of getting a Samyang 24 MF 1,4 for run-and-gun in low-light situations and an EF 50 1,8 for interviews. (Only borrowed one right now.)

Make sure you get the "cine" version which doesn't have a iris ring that "clicks", it's one of my favorite lenses. Look at amazon.de for that lens, I got mine for a bit less then 400 euro excl taxes.

Yep, that's the one I'm thinking of. Actually 1.5 not 1.4 as I wrote.
Thanks for the tip on amazon.de. Will definetly check that out.
