I don't really see 'lots of moire' in the first clip at 1080p. I do see a lot of compression artifacts, and interlace artifacts, and some aliasing. Between it clearly being 60i source footage and youtube's high level of compression I'd say it's of no real use as far as evaluating the camera's capabilities.

The second one does appear to show less moire in the water highlights, but again the youtube compression smears things so badly I'm mostly guessing at that based on the number of visible color specks in the compression artifacts.

There's an interesting question, if YT is "1080P", and the source was 1080i... you really can't develop much of an opinion?

Wish the framing and WB was more consistent in the second sample, but looks about like what I'd expect from the 16 vs 14 Mpixel sensors based on other Sony cams I've got. Definitely a sharper picture, Sony is getting these high Mpix sensors dialed in pretty well.

First Clip: Whereas a fair number of clips have been posted online showing the VG10 produce wide ranging rainbow moire effects, I saw none of that here. I did see some aliasing. I thought the VG20 did well on the brick buildings. Yes, there was some aliasing, but again, the rainbow moire effects are gone.

Second Clip: The only thing I would say for sure is that the VG20 has improved light sensitivity.
