Coverage with NX70U

Here is a shoot I did yesterday. The zoom is a little tricky, goes really fast and its difficult to go slow because it takes a very light touch. Also I had to use a converter for footage to prorez but the converter sucks and I wasn't happy with the results, trying to look for a good work flow on the mac as I shot a lot of stuff this weekend.

Also the stop lost on the long end of the lens is something I have to work out, over all though I'm happy with the camera.

You can't embed YouTube clips on this site.

Please use Vimeo instead; it is superior to YouTube. Just post the Vimeo URL and it will embed here automatically.

Copy that, I have to do it when I get home, I usually use Vimeo but producers want Youtube because of the traffic.

To zoom, you may want to use the LCD touchscreen next time, instead of the zoom rocker. The LCD buttons zooms only at one speed. It's not too fast or slow in my opinion.

I have just about got some acceptable zooms with it, but it is tough. It's good for crash zooms and framing purposes.

I don't zoom very much while filming, so it isn't a huge issue for me. This sort of thing has happened in the past, and I'm sure Sony fixed it with a firmware update. Fingers crossed, for those of us who need this feature.
