VLC player, AX2000 files and no time code
I like to play video files with VLC player. It has a lot of video/audio codecs embebed and runs quite well.
But I have an issue: how can I see the "time code" of the files of the AX2000 (NX5 cousin). I don`t want "offical TimeCode". I mean the clock that mark the position of the video, hours:minutes:seconds. When I play AX2000 files it shows 00:00:00 all the time. Any trick? Thanks. |
Re: VLC player, AX2000 files and no time code
Maybe others have a better answer but I think what you are requesting is something VLC doesn't do. It might be available in the Video>subtitles menu. Documentation is here: Documentation:VLC for dummies - VideoLAN Wiki
It's open source, I'm sure someone could write the code. |

MPEG-TS files don't show time in VLC. MPEG-PS files do though.
You could try Media Player Classic. It has time display for MPEG-TS files. Media Player Classic - Home Cinema - Video Player |
