The AXS-R5 makes no mention of compatibility with the FS700 - only the F5 and F55. Maybe it's just me, but I find it interesting that the HXR-IFR5 is so preliminary that B&H hasn't even bothered to fix the fact that they left a zero off the FS-700 model right on the product name link on their site.

The IFR5 and firmware needed to use it with the R5 are still quite a few months away. I am hearing rumours of lots of other nice features that will be included with the 4k upgrade when it does come.

There should be an intermediate firmware release very soon for support for the servo zoom, probably in the next couple of weeks.

Are firmware updates on the FS-700 something that us end-users can do, or will we need to ship the camera back to Sony for that?
