More Trv950e Secrets...

Had a good day today shooting in M25P (see other post) it was nice n sunny with puffy clouds - a polarizer day!

To check whether I was really getting Megapixel I shot the same scene in Camera and then in Memory/Network mode and later compared the results. I found that M25P produces images with 20% wider view (in azimuth and elevation) which is 44% more pixels than Camera mode. Since Camera mode uses 690000 pixels - scaling that up by 44% is approx 1000000 pixels (QED)

What this means is that M25P seems to shoot 864x692 and squeezes it into 720x576. Or looking at it another way the Camera mode footage would fit inside Title Safe of the M25P footage. I guess this is the way the PDX10P gets away with 16:9

I also put on my Optex Ana and the field of view is astonishingly wide in M25P (almost 60% wider than normal DV) so getting 2.35:1 would be a piece of cake with the 950E
