XLR - adaptor for 950??

Hello Group!

Got a new question:)

Is there a XLR adaptor for 950, that feets into the cold shooe?

I think I've red somewhere that it does exist, but I've never seen it in any accesorys catalog...

I'v not heard of one but the Beachtek will work (Hooks on underneath the cam)with the 950 just fine. The attachment for the PDX-10 won't work with the 950 as it attaches where the pop up light is on the 950 from the looks of it.

I will use the PDX10 for an interview shoot at the scene with music band background. Please suggest an affordable wireless mike for the PDX-10 with linkey if possible.

Vanja,
There is a Beachtec like Kenn said. That is the one you have heard about (I think). They made one special for the 900 camera, (the early editions had some kind of sound trouble) but it works with 950, too. Look for the one with an S in the model name.
You could also use any small mixer, but then you would have to think of somewhere to put it.

Have a look at this:

If you need just 1 channel of audio, check out the "attenuators" tutorial under dplay.com

I suggest you get a variable resistor or a bunch of em to see which one provides the right amount of attenuation for your mic (some are louder than others). Lots of soldering fun.
