General help needed for a neophyte.
I'm relatively new to digital video, got my VX2000 last xmas. I'm a hobbyist and learning as I do different projects, framing shots, lighting, sound, but I haven't really gotten a grasp of how to optimize the camera with shutter speeds, f stops, etc. Does anyone know of any good tutorials or books out there that can help an inexperienced person like myself?

Hello Dan: Here you will find more info about....
VX2000 Shooting Guide Description: The operation and functions of the Sony VX 2000. Includes a tour of the camera and its basic operation; deals with picture functions and lighting, and provides a guide to recording audio successfully. http://www.bbctraining.co.uk/onlineCourse.asp?tID=5160&cat=2781 Hope it helps.... |
Another good source of information may be your local community college where they may offer cinematography classes. Not only will you learn to use the camera from a technical standpoint, you will learn the artistry of the craft.
