Fire wire / IEEE 1394 on DSR-PD170P
 

Hello I am repairing a DSR-PD170P camera and need to desolder and replace the small straight firewire connector mounted on the JK-267 PCB board inside this camera. my question: Can anyone help me where to find a supplier where I can order this connector, (or the exact sony part number for instance?)

Please note that I am trying to find the small connector only and am not looking to find information about ordering the whole JK-267 (1-860-982-12) board which will be relatively expensive comparing to ordering the connector only.

Not sure if it helps, but have you tried the sony.com global website for a list of service centers nearest to you, who can help. I always find the price varies depending upon location with the UK being very expensive, and Hong Kong being moderately so.
