ND filter flashing??? pd 150
 

The nd filter warning keeps flashing "ND off" even when it is used (1 and 2). I have reset the camera but to no avail.
What to do? Help appreciated

When the ND OFF warning is flashing it means to turn the ND filter OFF, so perhaps you have the ND filter ON when it's really not needed such as indoors OR if you are using the ND filter(s) and you're not in a situation when you NEED the filter but WANT to use it for artistic purposes (i.e.; to enable using a larger f/stop to short DOF) then ignore the warning and keep on shooting.

I'm sure if you read the manual that came with the camera, that is explained in some detail.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it flashes "nd off" also when it is off. Iaw it does not matter which position the filter is in, it still flashes.

Ahhh, OK, then forget what I posted. I've never seen this happen before but this might be something that has to be fixed by Sony. Sorry, I wish I could be more help.
