VX2100 aperture clicks

I fear that the VX2100 and the PD170 differ in the way the exposure wheel works. Sony make play about how the number of clicks has been doubled, and both Boyd and I are letting out gasps of "At Last!" over this, but it really looks to me as if this improvenment only applies to the 170, and the 2.1k has to make do with the half-stop exposure bumps that are so visible on screen.

It's a great shame if this turns out to be true, So far I haven't got my hands on a 2100 to verify the point, but of all the modifications made to the VX and PD, this one has to be the most important in my book.
