Patrick, Nice try dude! :^) I really am happy with it... especially the audio options now available to me. 4:3 mode is quite impressive.

If I ever decide to dump it for some unreasonably insane low price, I'll post it here first! You guys would deserve first shot at it!

Dont hold your breath though!

sounds like maybe a gain issue? what gain did you have it set at??

Nope... dont think its gain, I checked that several times.... I think Boyd hit the nail on the head as I think I'm seeing similar results as shown in http://greenmist.com/dv/16x9/x-09.JPG. I'm chauling it up to a resolution delta and the fact that I was using 16x9 on the PD 170 which loses significant resolution. Thanks anyway.
