Merging of hi-def threads
 

To keep the clutter down, I'm merging threads of the type, "Hey Sony has announced their new HDV camera!" into the original thread on the topic.

Please read previous threads before starting a new one.

why not simply start a new group?

i ask cause i'm really not that interested in wading through, or even looking at posts about hypothetical improvements / hdtv when all i want is what the original forum promised, and so far has delivered admirably :-?

ps. for those of you who were following my tripod quest - i ended up with a ds10, and i'm very happy...
