VX2100 question

does it shoot 24p mode. couldn't find it anywhere. thanks

Nope, it offers a 15 fps progressive mode, but that's really only useful for specialized things.

Your only real options for 24p are the DVX-100a and XL-2. Some of the less expensive Panasonic 3-chippers evidently have something close to a progressive mode http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=30199, and a Sony 1-chpper has something similar http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=31187. Then there's also the pseudo 24p mode on the FXI and Z1 http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=35941
