VX and PD owners, What are you shooting with now?

If you moved up from either of these cams, what did you get and what are you shooting with now?

Nobody?

I eventually traded in the VX2000 and bought a Sony Z5. Among other things, I really love that I don't need a w/a lens.

Switched VX2000s for used/beaten up EX1's and I'm fairly happy. Also
have a CX560 as b-cam.

Mark,

I had both cameras. The VX went down so I got the Sony NX-5 to use along side the PD 170 because the NX-5 can shoot 4:3 and 16:9 at the same time if you have 128gig hard drive. Also the NX-5 uses the same batteries and LANC controller. Then Sony came out with FS-100 and now My PD stays in the closet. It served me well.

Re: VX and PD owners, What are you shooting with now?

Primarily shooting multi-cam using an NX5, an FX1000 (with an MRC unit), and two CX550v cams. The NX and FX go about as deep into low light as the VX2000 cams did but the extra pixels in HD can make them more prone to video noise and grain. Most of that goes away when down rezzing to DVD but it can still be noticeable.
