vx2100...crappy footage?

I have a Vx2100, and I had to shoot a little something for school and the video turned out to be really.. crappy. The colors don't look good at all and I'm really disappoined with it. I think it's because of my UV filter, but I'm not sure. Here.. look at it.

This is after compression but it was very much alike before I compressed.

Looks like flourescent lighting caused the picture to appear that way.
