Device recognition G3, Premiere
 

Help - does anyone know how I can get premiere 5.1 to recognize my camera?
I keep getting a message that the device control plug-in can't be installed because of
too many fonts and not enough system heap. Tried removing all but system fonts, but
still got the same message.

I am using a PD150 with the computer's built in firewire port

Prem 5.1 is a fairly old program now and the PD150 is quite new isn't it. It could be that Prem 5.1 came out before the PD150 so it wasn't included in the list of recognised cameras. Download the trial version of Prem 6.0 from www.adobe.com and see if it makes any difference.
