In urgent need of a spare battery, I tried to call all DVInfo.net trusted sponsors but no luck. If anyone knows of a dealer that has batteries in stock please email me privately at info@telecamfilms.com .

Phil Bloom (London) is one of the few that received the larger battery.

Thanks to all who came to the rescue with my quest for a spare battery. I received several good leads and it looks like batteries are being delivered to dealers.

I don't know what Australia did to get special treatment (we also got both 8Gb cards with the Camera), but this Monday, the day before my EX1 arrived, I ordered a U60 battery from Melbourne, the other side of the country, and it arrived yesterday, Thursday.

Good luck over there ....

Got mine today Thursday... so they are shipping!

The BP-60 battery is great, I have one here and used it last week: the EX stays on forever and forever. The display claims over 315 minutes of power supply...

I received mine when I purchased my camera which they have in stock as well. Perhaps Chris will let me post where this is, he should get them to be a sponsor. I just confirmed they have several.
