Great - thought the same but glad someone did it first. If it works it is a great and cheap solution. Lokking foreward to hear how it works with overcranking.

We all await results... I have the feeling it won't work, however.

We've checked them and I wouldn't let one near another camera...

Takes multiple insertions for the card to be recognised. When it is recognised, it's unreliable even in "standard" mode (25Mb).

Generally throws up a "restore media" error between 3-4mins of recording in SD. During this time if you stop recording and start again within 5 sec, you get an error.

Fails immediately in HQ...

The connector at the base of the 6 cards that we had are also very poorly made - not so much the external shell, but the contacts inside... this fact alone would make me wary of inserting another one into a camera, as the resultant repair bill could probably buy you a 32gig Sony card....

I don't think it's even worth the risk of inserting them into a cheap PC slot, let alone an EX1 or EX3....

Just our experience, anyway.. :)
