How will the XDCAM EX handle dead pixels?

I'm wonder this after owning the JVC HD100. The HD100 is capable of fixing (mapping) the dead pixels.

That's a good question. Though somewhere I heard that cmos technology is more resilient against dead pixels forming than ccd.
