Where : COEX Aquarium in Seoul, near my home.

Pull-down Removal : NEOHDV(cineform)
Edit : Premere Pro 2.0

You may compare this footage to another mine with XH A1 about one year ago:

Mooho, very enjoyable footage edited together, thank you.

So you shot this, and the "night scenery" footage in 1080p24 SP mode, being 25mbps CBR, ie HDV? If so, is that becuase of import issue to PP2, pending CineForm releasing an update for 35mb VBR HQ reading in HDLink (maybe only a few days away)?

I watched both EX1 and A1 aquarium clips once, and will observe these clips again later. The A1 is plenty sharp and resolves well. The EX1 is displaying less noise. The A1 appears sharper in this instance, not that it looks better, imo. More compression issues with the A1, caveat, both files were recompressed to WMV. Lots of caveats, however, I understand why you presented both EX1 and A1 clips, and thank you for that. I prefer the look of the EX1 footage.

Now, if you shot 1080p24 HQ, that is what I would like to see sometime. Again, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mooho.
It looks great, very clean.

Very nice!

I give you credit for some great shots, and the aquarium credit for having some beautiful species. :) Good stuff!

Carl

Christopher, the "night scenery" footage is shot in HQ 1920*1080 24P. Thanks.

Thank you, Mooho.

Great footage. If you look carefully at the footage at about 1 min 03 sec (the stone behind the fish) and 1 min 27 sec (the jelly fish behind) time stamp, the DOF is quite shallow. Is this result of the 3 x 1/2" CMOS?

Maybe Yes John, I guess so. Obviously, this cam shows shallower DOF compared to my XH A1.
