Best Settings for a Wedding

What would be the best settings for a wedding... I know that this can be a subject to a style.. but I'm just trying to understand the difference 720P..1080I...framerates ect...

Depending on your circumstances I'd suggest using the SP 1080i mode to start because that's compatible with any software designed for HDV cameras, plus you'll get more recording time per GB than using the HQ modes. In my tests the resolution difference between SP and HQ wasn't dramatic and you still get the DOF and low-light benefits of having a large sensor, so I'd say the SP modes are fine for wedding and event work. If you like progressive-scan recording try the various SP modes for that - and note that 1080p24 allows you to use slower shutter speeds than SP 1080i.
