EX1 -->> live FW to FCP what to do?
 

Next week i have to film a convention, with alot of speakers (people talking) 8 houes continuously. The camera will remane static all the time, so i want to get the film directly into my mac at once. (easy work flow)

But i can't get it to work.
What setings should i use in FCP and one the ex1 ? it will not reconise it. (hehe I move will thoug) but I want to use FCP.

FCP is 6.02

Connected with the firewire

EX1 has I.Link turnede on, a SQ format is selected, are there any other settings that i should set? (like display out put, and what about HD sdi, all options in that menu how should the be? )

I tyed for few houes with all kinde of settings but now i ran out of ideas.

Make sure that all your settings in FCP are correct for the Sony HDV FW connection/codec. It doesnt come in at XDCAM EX over firewire.
