EX1 & Sekonic 758DR

I was hoping that someone had a clear tutorial/instructions on how to setup the Sekonic 758DR with the PMW-EX1?

I followed the directions based on the FreshDV podcast: http://www.freshdv.com/2007/07/calib...tal-video.html and I get different results based on whether I'm using incident or reflective measurements.

Also, what would the proper EV value be for the ND Filters that are built into the EX1? (1/8 & 1/64) I've spent a couple hours going through the manual and for some reason I'm just not 'clicking' on the proper way to set it up.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone know of a link to a previous post that I might have missed in my search?

The 1/8 filter is minus 3 stops and the 1/64 is minus 6 stops.

When I use a meter with a video (or film) camera with ND filters, I adjust the ISO in my meter to match the effective ISO with the filter on.

If you rate the EX1 at 400 with no filter, for example, (I am not saying this is necessarily the right rating - just an example) then rate it at 50 with the 1/8 filter and 6 with 1/64 filter

Thank you VERY much. That solved my problem. It was the filters that was throwing me way off.

I believe there is a Tech Know episode on Digital Juices DJTV on light meters where they use a Sekonic as example.
