.smi files on cards

I have been shooting a feature on the EX1 and Letus Extreme and have gotten a couple of clips that end in .smi I was able to get most off onto my MacBook Pro by using the usb connector but I have one that seems to be stuck. Do I need to format the cards? Any thoughts?

SxS Cards

Yeah . . . I tried the slot and the usb and the same problem happened. The clip was 16 minutes long and I have read that may have been the problem. I'm going to bring it into FCP and make shorter cuts of it.
