EX slow shutter

EX slow shutter at 16 , 32 and 64 leaves quite the blurrrrrrrrr.
Is there anyway to tweek the settings to get say 8 frames or 4 frames to lessen the effect?

Mhmm, in the menu go to shutter, then change the mode to SLS (slow shutter).

then you can change the SLS frame option anywhere from 2-8 frames of accumulation.

Why Sony didn't combine SLS and slow shutter into one menu is beyond me, as they are the exact same thing. (although I believe one has audio and one doesn't)

Thanks Jon,
that helps alot, although the SLS frame option is close to the same thing, the ex slow shutter at 16 lets in way more light and when zooming you get a starwars jump to light speed effect which the sls option does not do. hmm. I was shooting 1080 24p and wish I could just set the regular shutter speed to 1/12th at 24p or 1/15 @ 30 p etc. It bottoms out at 1/32nd.

What I meant was that they do the same thing, but have different ranges of settings. Would make sense to just have one menu with options 2 through 64.

I second that.
Next firmware maybe ?

Just remember that for SLS slow shutter to work, the shutter switch needs to be on. EX slow shutter works regardless.

Thanks Nick,
I did not have that switched.
I now have the range of settings Jon mentioned.
