Just got this on e-mail. Looks like you have to show proof of upgrade and 32g sxs purchase. so what are we looking at? 1100$ for 32g sxs with rebate?

ok the firmware is $108.00.. postage and insurance $100.00 so your getting $100.00 off the 32GB card. No thanks Sony. I will wait for the ScanDisc 32GB SDHC cards to be released $149.00

When is that happening?! Where did you hear that? I know the Sandisk (that's the company you mean right?) 8 or 16's are around the same price as the sony.

The sandisk SD cards are like 1/10th the price of sonys overpriced flash cards

You're thinking SxS these guys are talking about using SDHC cards in their EX1/3

Got that a few days ago. Already have 4 SxS cards (2 x 8gb and 2 x 16gb). Don't feel the need for more. Not sure if Sony has read the writing on the wall with respect to SDHC cards or CF cards with HD/SDI digital recorders. Nothing new there then.

Rather more interested in big capacity CF/UDMA cards for my Flash XDR.
