30:Second Spot / Green Screen on EX1

Here is a 30:Second spot I did for a Realtor.

I shot 1080 30p HQ on a green screen and composited in AE using Keylight 1.2 with a custom background created using Particular and a shape I drew in Illustrator.

Bill MacBride :: Realtor

The key was easy and clean.

Very slick! Everything looks super. Perhaps edit could be a bit tighter so as to pace the words more naturally, or am I reading too much into it?

Yes Ali, my edits could be a bit tighter I think. At least my wife tells me so and I think so too.

Just have to decide if I want to re-do it.

I think all the different angles made it cheesy. Especially the one where he looks up. Would've been more sincere in a single take.

A single take, in my opinion, would not be as visually appealing IF you don't zoom in/out between phrases.

Also, a single take is much more difficult to pull off with someone who is not an actor and not reading a teleprompter.

I agree, the delivery could have been better, but he was very happy with the result and that's what counts.
