24PsF lock
 

With firmware 1.11, EX1 allows you to use 60i pulldown, or real 24p (PsF) output via HD-SDI.

I always need 24PsF, yet when the cam is turned off, it instantly loses the setting. So when you turn it on again, you'll have to fumble with the menu to restore 24PsF mode again.

Is there a way to lock it?

I noticed my camera does this with the "IR remote" setting. I set it to on, yet every time I turn the camera off then on its set to off again.

I have used almost every video setting the camera has... and it has never reset when I turned the camera off. As far as the remote control, I've never used it.

Yes, the RC is designed that way, Jon. Might be nice to have an option to override it, but if you forget it's on, the camera may respond when you didn't intend for it to! That said, I've never had many problems with TV's in my suddenly changing channels on me.

I've assigned button #2 to turn on the remote (BRT DISP). This is working well for me.

I can't speak to the HD-SDI output at this time.
