i added a dab of locktite to the threads on my tripod base plate, seemed to solve the issue of it coming loose on the tripod. I can now pan and tilt without worrying about it.

My product is almost done. The parts are at an anodizing shop, hopefully will be able to ship early next week. I hope to post photos and a video or two to the internet in a couple days, using parts I didn't send to the anodizer.

One thing would be interested in is whether this thing could be made with the rear clip for the VC14? This is the THE thing that is missing from all other adaptors.

I don't care how good the reports of the VF Gadgets thing is, putting a long telephoto on that VC14 wedge only is going to wobble. If someone says that it doesn't, I need proof.

I'll meet them on Dartmoor Common!!

I plan to make a variation of the base plate, or an add-on to use the rear clip. That design is not ready yet.
