MXF player

Is there any mxf player available out there ??? (or a "MP4 player" in the BPAV folder)

Working EX3 files with Vegas 8... it would be nice to anybody play the mxf WITHOUT clip browser (or opening Vegas) ... just try Snell & Wilcox MXF desktop but doesnīt work as expected (sometimes play and others donīt in WMP) ....

kind regards

yeah, there is, let me see if I can find the link for you. it actually allows you to see the clip as a thumbnail which is sweet!

I downloaded it and then uninstalled it after discovering that i is as useless as Clip Browser for playing back mxf files. Is it beyond Sony's comprehension that we would want to play back the clips consecutively? You can't select multiple clips. Every time you stop the camera it creates a new clip. Then you start their players and they can't play back the whole thing like you could with tapes.

I guess I dont see the big deal with that. if I am watching the clips, I am editing anyway, so I am watching them in vegas. but i just really like the fact that you can see the clips as thumbnails. helps when tyring to figure out which clips I want to drag into vegas....love it.
