EX1 - Finding a replacement composite cable

I'm looking for a spare composite output cable (which I can butcher) for my EX1.

I need to run a monitor whilst on my jib, but I don't want to have the 3 phonos flapping around, so I looking for a spare cable or just the connector on it's own...

Is it available anywhere? Is the connector similar to another bit of Sony kit?

Cheers folks.

not sure where u can pick you up but i can tell u its a very cheap cable and is an exact copy of the one that came with a crappy hand held cam i picked up for cheap. any AV store, or sony supplier should be able to help, its a common sony connection

I chopped the original cable for the pilot, and now for the external monitor I'm using one that came with my HC9, they have the same connector.

All the Sony camcorders I own (5 different ones) have different outputs.
Thanks for your relies so far.

I'll search for an HC9 cable.

Cheers, Duncan.

The EX1 composite cable is available at the Sony Style store or BH Photo.

If this is true (I haven't actually looked to verify) let me know.... I have about a dozen HC9's that I use for wildlife research, and don't use any of the cables packaged with the cameras. I have all the boxes stacked up in a storage area with all the cables, software, etc. still in them. I'd be happy to send you one of the component cables-

I've posted the link to the cable twice now. it's here, somewhere in the forum.
