Clip Browser 2.05 crashing

I just updated Clip Browser to V 2.05. It keeps crashing on launch. Does any one else sees this issue, do i need any other installs.

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X 10.5.7, XDCAM Transfer 2.9.0

no problems here, but then again I prefer to use XDCAM Transfer, not clip browser - highly recommended!

also, are you running OS X 10.5.7? Have you tried repairing disk permissions?

XDCAM Transfer tool and Clip Browser are 2 very different utilities. Clip Browser can do many things such as cross conversion and down conversion, backup files with error checking, split and combine BPAV folders and so on. The transfer tool on the other hand is just a way to convert MP4's to .mov's so FCP can work with the files. I can't wait for the release of the Calibrated-Q MP4 import plugin that will allow the use of MP4's directly in FCP.

On all my Mac's I have found both tools to be very stable, I don't recall them ever crashing.

Upgrade

Upgrade to v2.5 if you have Intel processors. Very stable on OS 10.5.7
