The Aspen Glow

EX3, stock lens, UV filter. Doug Jensen's PP settings (thank you, Doug).

All of this was shot within 15-minutes of my house. I'm a lucky dude.

This was great . . I love Colorado, it is so beautiful, and you captured it wonderfully.

I would have done one thing differently . . either go with straight cuts, or longer dissolves of perhaps one second. Looks like you went with 6 frame dissolves, which seemed to be a bit of a distraction rather than a solution.

Didn't mean to be too critical. Again, you did a masterful job of photography. Congratulations !!

I liked the quicker dissolves with that music.

Plus I think any time you are compressing something for web, a slow dissolves break down under heavy compression. (Unless you are uploading to a site where you have total control over the format and compression you can play around till you get better results by tweaking the settings.)

Thank you both. I did in fact chose half dissolves simply because the only destination for this video is Vimeo.

I'm going to put full rastor, 1920 X 1080p HD .mow files on Pond 5 next week some time.
