Steve: This has been added you can now batch edit metadata across all clips or selected clips. I was told late November for release. It has to be available when the EX1R ships so users can manage the new SD and HD modes.

...or if you can't wait that long, the XDCAM Transfer tool already allows you to enter metadata with a multiple selection of clips. This works across clips from multiple folders too.

Speaking of XDCAM Transfer, any news on new features there? Didn't seem to be much in the document.

Hello Alister!

You mentioned in your Blog, that the new Clip Browser 2.6 have a very nice feature!

The “Acquisition” display!

Are we able to see all informations of our "old" EX1 files with it, or do we need a new Firmware and only the new Clips will have the informations?

Kind regards,
Uwe

I'm not sure how it will work with older cameras. I need to load some old EX files and see what works. As Clip Browser 2.6 will be needed to handle the EX1R AVI files it should come out the same time as the camera, which should be December.

I'm pleased to report that the Acquisition window works with my original EX1, so I can watch the zoom and focus animate as I change the settings on the camera.

There is a frame grab of the screen in my blog.
