battery drain on EX-3

I was under the assumption that battery drain was an EX-1 issue. apparently not. My EX-3, bought in April, will drain the battery if left on the camera with the camera turned OFF.

Is there a fix for this (besides removing the battery)??

I have the same problem with our EX3. I just remove the battery when I'm done. No big deal. I thought this was just a design issue? I'm guessing that if I left the battery on the camera for about 2 weeks the battery would be dead. That's just a guess though, I've never actually checked.

There is a warning in the manual (p 28) advising not to leave the the battery in place, even with the switch turned off, as there is a slow current discharge.

I used to leave my battery on my ex3 without a problem. Now in the last month it has drained when left attached. Can't see I am doing anything different so I have begun to detach after I am done. Not a major pain but I wonder.

I notice significant drain overnight. Can't quantify it, but its not from full to dead. Maybe 20% of charge?
