Device Control in Premiere for EX1R
 

Been looking around but have not found an answer for this one. I would like to be able to record to the internal card as well as an external capture device (mac/raid/mx02). It's not a huge deal, but I was hoping to be able to hit the record button on the Mac and have both recordings start at the same time.

I read that the EX1R cannot have the DV interface enabled while it sends a signal over the SDI. I thought I might try to capture off the HDMI while using the DV interface for device control. Unfortunately I cannot seem to get Premiere CS4 to even recognize the Sony.

Has anyone gotten this to work? I have not spent a tremendous amount of time trying to make it work. Just enough to the point where I wanted to kick something, or someone ;)
