slight audio issue

i recorded some talking heads with the ex1r yesterday. had a wireless on speaker and got a feed from the board. for some reason, although the audiio playback on my nle is clean, theres a slight echo.not sure why.sounded perfect when monitoring on headphones

If the board had anything digital like an equaliser to prevent feedback in it then no doubt that has caused the delay.

Did you have the Mic input set to Line? I had a similar problem on location whereby the built in Mike also picked up the signal as well at the wireless mike. Take a look at the switch by the XLR input, making sure that mike two is not set to line etc.

Was the board feed from a PA system? The echo is probably from the two channels being slightly out of phase since the sources have different delays going to record. Try listening to each track separately and see if the echo disappears. You may have to play around with the tracks to get them to be in phase. Try moving the feed track a frame or two forward or back from the Lav track to see if hte echo gets better.

on the ex1r, there is no line setting like the dsrs, just ext or int mic. listening through the headphones it sounded perfect
